I am obsessed with “favorite things” posts from the bloggers I love. When blogs like Everyday is a Holiday and Twinkie Chan post round-ups of ridiculously cute things I simply cannot live without I’m a goner. And it’s not like I don’t already sit in the bathtub and favorite things on Etsy, because I certainly do! So I thought it would be fun to give a favorite things post a whirl and see if you guys feel the same way. Oh, and some of the sellers I love have even kicked in a prize so there’s a giveaway*, too! So here are the things I’m currently into:
The Slaters by The Tiny Hobo
Tiny Hobo – My family started a tradition a while back of sending out holiday cards featuring an illustration of us rather than a photograph. The first time I saw Valerie’s chubby cuties on Instagram I knew I had to have her interpretation of the Slaters. She totally nailed us – from Tony’s tattoos to my curvy hips to Teno’s Minecraft shirt – she even got Lulu in there! It was our most popular card yet, and I’ve been back to her shop since to pick up her hilarious buttons. Frostbeard Studio
Frostbeard Studio – I received a Winterfell candle for my birthday last year because of course I did. Honestly, I would have been stoked on it just for simply existing but then it went and smelled amazing! You simply have not properly fantasized about being Jon Snow’s wildling girl until you have done it to the sweet smell of scotch pine and firewood. And you guys… they have a Butterbeer candle, too. A Secret Forest – Absolutely, positively the most insanely gorgeous lollipops to ever exist. Oh, was that dramatic? I bought these as a gift for a girlfriend and ended up hoarding some for myself because they were too pretty to give away! Cookoorikoo – Shana and I go way back, and I think I have purchased her jewelry to gift to all of the best ladies in my life. She’s always up to something stunningly creative, but I think my favorite project to date has been her Word of the Week project, in which she embroiders a different word, you guessed it, each week. I am the proud owner of several of Shana’s pieces, including the birdie you see here, which she made using a quote of something totally embarrassing I said on Facebook earlier this year. The winner of my giveaway will get to pick the hoop of his/her choice up to $40 (which covers most of the items in the shop).
Ali Buttons Designs
Ali Buttons Designs – I follow Ali on Tumblr and I think she’s super cute. So I guess it makes sense that she’s offering 15% off your order when you enter TUMBLRFRIENDS. Her love of pop culture and curvy ladies gives me a heart boner, and I can wear that heart boner on my chest with one of her fun heart-shaped brooches. Raw Bone Studio – I had to give a holler to this Etsy shop because the vintage Halloween garland I bought last year really, as people on TV say, pulled the room together. There isn’t a single garland in her shop that I don’t want to own – I need a house with more fake fireplaces.

magic pop is probably one of my favorite storenvy stores. there’s something about glittery pink and purple stuff that just makes me feel happy, ever since i was a kid. looking at that store reminds me of watching sailor moon when i was a kid. i guess whimsy would be the word i use to describe it.
