This contest was VERY close and came down to just a handful of votes between Lisa Chen’s Peacock design and Emily Finch’s Lucha Libre apron. Cynthia and I opted not to vote as all six of the finalists were near and dear to our hearts for different reasons – so thank you all for doing our dirty work!
And the winner is…
Lisa Chen with her super-creative Peacock! I couldn’t help but point and laugh at Cynthia who has to actually MAKE this apron, but she’s stoked on the challenge and I know it will look amazing.
We can’t thank you guys enough to your submissions, I think Cupcake Provocateur design challenges will become a reoccurring event on Bake and Destroy! Like I mentioned, for her winning submission, Lisa will receive her dream apron, hand made by Cynthia. (Lisa, please give Cynthia about 2 weeks to whip that up for you!)
I’ll be choosing a few random voters to win some special prizes – one of you will get this massively cute gift set from Cupcake Provocateur which includes a tea towel, matching potholder and mini apron gift card holder…
Well kids, it’s been swell but the swelling’s gone down. Until next time!
YEAH!! I’m so glad this one won! Cant wait to see the completed design.
very nice! congrats to lisa– it’s definitely going to be a cool design!!
You’re going to post the finished product, right?! That’s the one I voted for, I love it and wish I could buy it somewhere, ugh.
That’s so awesome! Congrats to Lisa – that was my favorite design!!! 🙂 Hope I get picked for the other prizes!
i would SO buy that! love the design.
